How to find us:
From the M6 exit at junction 41 just north of Penrith. Follow the (B5305) until you reach Wigton, drive through Wigton and turn left at the monument, follow this road out of Wigton, at the T junction turn left onto the (A596) to Aspatria. Once in Aspatria turn right for Westnewton (B5301), once at Westnewton turn left through Westnewton and head for Allonby. Once you are through Westnewton take the 2nd farm lane on the left (approx three miles from Westnewton). There is a colourful sign at the end of the lane, follow the lane to the end, turn right before the sandstone building and follow the track to the end. Maid’s cottage is on the left and has a red fenced patio.
From Carlisle follow signs for Workington (A595/A596). Follow the A596 until you reach Aspatria, then follow the directions above.
If you have sat nav, please only follow this to Westnewton and then switch it off, if you do not switch your sat nav off you will be directed to the wrong property.
If you miss the turning for Westnewton, follow the signs and head to Maryport, when you get to the main traffic lights turn right and head to Allonby. Once in Allonby when on the bridge, turn right for Westnewton, the farm lane is approximately half a mile along this road, turn right onto the farm lane immediately after the farm called Marina house (Marina House is the first farm you come to after leaving Allonby).
